We were first-time home buyers and had a lot of questions about the process. We were also new to the city and had a lot of questions about various neighborhoods, suburbs, and school districts. Karen has raised a family here herself and knows the area extremely well. She understands the various communities and school districts and could give us an idea of what our daily lives would be like, as a family, if we chose a particular home. We knew we could count on her for the information we needed to make our decisions. She recommended a particular mortgage lender to help us, as well, and they, too, held our hands through the first-time home buying experience. We were anxious about making the wrong decision, spending too much or too little, and about choosing the right community for our family. Nothing can take away that anxiety completely, but it helps so much when you know your agent is a text message away and she will do whatever she can to help you navigate all of the factors involved. I have heard from friends about their real estate agents when buying a home for their young families, and none of them have yet had a very good experience, and none would recommend their agents! I was surprised to hear about agents who don't text back, don't return calls, and who basically behave as though you are bothering them. Karen is the opposite of that for sure. She cares, she wants you to be happy with your decision, and she wants to help. She has a ton of energy and enjoys what she does. And if you have kids, she will woo them. Thank you, Karen!
She is very knowledgeable in the market and very accessible throughout the process.
Very professional in her dealings, showed us many properties from which to choose. Very knowledgeable as a real estate executive. Recently, I daughter needed to move again this time closer to us. Karen found a home in our neighborhood with an excellent price. We saw the home in the morning and she had closed the deal by 9 PM that night. She knows what she is doing! We are very pleased with her.
I thought with the economy the way it is it would be easy enough using sites like Zillow. Not so. I requested viewings for dozens of houses, and only two people got back to me for two mediocre properties, while I watched so many great homes be sold before I could see them. I was getting very worried. Two months ago, my dad happened to be visiting from out of state and happened to run into Karen at a hardware store and told her of my plight, so I got in touch with her. She got me 8 viewings of places I was interested in in just a few days. A few days later, she got me a viewing of a house that was put on the market *that day.* And I will be living there next week! I cannot thank Karen enough for all of her hard work. She is damn devoted. I could (and did) message her any time of day and she would get right back to me. She would even message/email me at nearly midnight to share her research. Most of all, she is trustworthy, and made the whole process as painless and reassuring as possible for a depressed 35 year old child who doesn't know what he's doing! She really saved my bacon, and I will absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a home.
She was an outstanding REALTOR®, was patient, sensitive to my needs, and made the process so easy for me to view homes in various neighborhoods, set up visits when I came to town, and secure financing when I was over 400 miles away.
